At Good Works Disability Services (GWDS), we provide practical and respectful support with everyday household tasks to help people maintain a safe, clean, comfortable and well-organised home environment.

Our Household Tasks support is tailored to each person's individual needs, preferences and circumstances. We aim to provide practical assistance while encouraging people to participate in household activities wherever possible, helping to build confidence, maintain independence and develop everyday living skills.

Our Household Tasks Support May Include

• General household cleaning and tidying
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
• Laundry and linen changes
• Washing, drying, folding and putting away clothes
• Meal preparation and basic food-related household tasks
• Assistance with organising household items
• Support with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
• Assistance with routine household tasks that a person may find difficult to complete independently

We understand that maintaining a home can be challenging for some people. Our team provides support with kindness, dignity and respect, while encouraging each person to have choice and control over their home and daily routines.

Where appropriate, we encourage active participation rather than simply completing tasks on a person's behalf. This can help develop practical skills, confidence and greater independence over time.
