Person-Centred Nursing Care

At GWDS, we understand that good nursing care is about more than clinical tasks. It is about building trust, listening to the person and respecting their dignity, choices, privacy and individual circumstances.

Our nursing team takes a person-centred approach, ensuring that care is delivered in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner while supporting each person's goals and preferences.

Where appropriate, we work collaboratively with the participant, their family or support network, support workers, doctors, allied health professionals and other relevant healthcare providers to promote continuity and quality of care.

Supporting Health, Independence and Wellbeing

Our goal is to help people receive the nursing support they need while maintaining as much choice, control and independence as possible.

We recognise that every person has different abilities and support needs. We focus on their strengths and work alongside them to promote confidence, participation and quality of life.

Love in Action. Truth in Everything We Do.
